Way too fast!

My baby started Kindergarten today. I have mixed feelings about this. Eleven years ago I sent my first to kindergarten and she held onto my leg, cried every day for the first week! Some kids still remember and remind her about it to this day. Leaving Livi was the complete opposite, she marched on in ahead of me, not even looking back to make sure I was there! I am so proud of her and so sad for me. She told me last night that when she goes to school, I will be alone, I told her thanks for reminding me. I helped her find her cubby, coat hook, and seat. As I was heading out the door of the classroom, I took one more glance back at her. She was sitting there with a smile and I thought how time has gone WAY TOO FAST! I left in a hurry trying to hold the tears until I got to my car, but when I passed my neighbor on the way out, the tears came and haven't stopped.

I would have given anything to have my camera as Cole and Livi came out hand in hand, smiling and proud after a great day at school :)

Livi's New Do!!

After much begging, Livi got 8 inches cut off of her hair! I am so glad she was persistent, because I am in love........she looks beautiful with her new do!

Back to School

It's amazing to me that my kids are this old! Sierra now a Junior,
Ryan a 9th grader, Cole is in 5th. There was mixed emotions at our house this morning that's for sure! I had one who was completely depressed about starting a new year, one who had mixed feelings, a little nervous and scared, and one who was out the door and happy to leave :) Next week Livi starts kindergarten and that is where my mixed emotions will be coming in!

Ry - happy
Sierra- not so much
Cole- nervous

Overall the reports for the day were pretty good :) Cole was impressed by his teacher who told the class his whole life story, Sierra has a class to change to make, Ryan was happy to have lunch with friends and is anxious to find out the results from football tryouts today.
