Lake Powell

We spent five days in Lake Powell with the Treases. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our beautiful surroundings! The mountains there are so gorgeous, its amazing. We spent our time swimming, boating, looking for lizards and just hanging out as a family. Games were played and ice cream was made. Fun memories :)

Camping for the day

I'm new to Young Womens so I decided that I better not already say I couldn't teach this week. I went camping for the day and came home in the evening so that I could teach the next morning. Turns out that after coming home, leaving most of my family up at Lava, I fell out the door and skinned my knees on the way to church! Hahahahaha!!! Not only did I show up for class with red eyes and bloody knees, there were no Miamaids to teach :(

Fishing with Uncle Troy

Michelle and Troy wanted to spend some time with the kids before they head back to school. Michelle took the whole week off of work and had fun things planned for the kids :) Today they got to go fishing up at Pineview Dam. Troy must have dad lots of patience as many times as the lines got caught in trees or tangles up in other lines!

Fly Away Birds!

  1. When Springtime arrived and birds started building a nest on our porch I was so excited. I thought it would be so much fun to follow these birds on their journey into parenthood :) I was so excited to see the birds grow up and thought it would probably be sad the day we looked out and they were gone. Yeah, it was fun at first, but then the mess they would make and the way they would threaten our guests and scare me to the point I about had to quit watering my hanging baskets, got really old fast! Three months and two sets of eggs later, I'm done! Ok birds you are so big you overflow the nest and I can barely tell if you are the baby or the daddy, fly away please and never return!!!

I'll Build You a Rainbow!

When I was young, I loved the song, I'll build you a Rainbow. I couldn't help but think of that song as I went to bed after taking pictures of this incredible rainbow. It was a full, double rainbow, even though I couldn't get it all in one shot. I was completely amazed by the beauty of it, to the point I was obsessed, it seemed unreal. To me, its my Grandma Fronk just letting us know she is watching over us. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Mayan and a Limo

Lucky us that for Michelle's birthday she decided to do something that my kiddos would love, so it turned into a surprise for them! We rode in a limo to the Mayan, had an awesome time there, good food and fun entertainment! On the ride home, we pretended to be rich and it was hysterical to listen to everyone make up things about having so much money, hahaha :) We ended with a dance off while we were on the freeway and it was so funny, everyone participated and we went around in the circle dancing from our seats! When we arrived back home, the driver said he'd never heard so much laughter and fun and said for a minute he thought we all had been drinking. It was so great!! Happy Birthday Michelle and thanks for a night to remember!
